Scary Titles

Just starting to decorate a bit for Halloween.

I try to keep the scary decorations to a minimum as I get spooked easily...

OOooooooo

As usual, I use stacks of books with scary titles and pull different items from around the house that when arranged might provide a suggestion of the macabre...

Boo!

You're really getting into these alterations and today's linear light treatment is perfect for a spooky Halloween...

Oh Laura,
What a wonderful post....I particually love the OOoooo's !! I have a book of my Dad's called 'Not at Night, Omnibus' and it's full of horrible, scary stories.
Halloween isn't as huge here as it is in the States but....it's getting more and more popular now. I now have to have sweets and treats ready on the 31st. XXXX

My spookey decor consists of a silver glittered skull head with a pink flower on top!

I love the books and all your decor.

Good idea! I have one old book titled The Galloping Ghost and it's orange. I always bring it out for Halloween time!

Love your old books. I don't usually decorate with scary stuff but I do like some darker colors to cozy things up a bit. Cute ideas and I also love the antlers.
